Nashville-based Americana/folk duo Rosine (comprising the husband/wife pair Forrest and Meredith Lane O'Connor) is cultivating a soundscape that relies on deep acoustic layering to showcase their original songs. Recently signed to Compass Records, the duo is slated to begin releasing music in late 2026 followed by their debut full-length album in the first half of 2027. Individually, the members of Rosine have collaborated with the likes of Paul Simon, Zac Brown, Steve Martin & Martin Short, Emmylou Harris, and many others over the last 15 years, and Forrest won a Grammy Award for Best Bluegrass Album in 2017 for his work with the O'Connor Band, which he co-founded with his father, fiddler Mark O'Connor. Rosine began touring nationally in late 2025, and their 2026 highlights include the Sisters Folk Festival (Sisters, OR) and the Wildflower Festival (Richardson, TX). Their new album will feature guest appearances by Jerry Douglas, Bela Fleck, Mark O'Connor, and Alison Brown.
